Raya!!

Although It's Far From Now, But We're One Step Closer

Yesterday, I came back late for Iftar. When I opened FB, I saw my friend said to watch TV3 news. But it was too late. It's already 9 something when I arrived home. Then I saw this link from Malaysian Digest's web site and also from Buletin Utama TV3.

To be short, the proposed penalty to the animal abusers are, they will be punished as low as RM20,000 until RM100,000 or jailed not more than 3 years. Although it has not been implemented yet, but hey!! It's a good news. Better than nothing I guess. Currently the animal abusers who are guilty need to pay only RM200. I think nowadays everyone can pay RM200. 

You Never Know What Type of Sustenance (rezeki) You Will Get

Yesterday, I went to feed Zoe like always. I was walking from my house. Then I saw her bf. When Zoe saw me, she greet me like always. So we headed to her eating spot. While I was mixing her kibbles, she stood beside me waiting to eat them. Suddenly someone say 'hye'. There's a chinese guy standing near Zoe. So we have a chat a bit. He told me the history of Zoe. He said when Zoe was a puppy, someone saw her yelping from a drain alone. So there's a security guard help her out and people there started to feed her. They call her Acai. Later, one of the book store's worker started to 'adopt' Zoe. Zoe started to 'live' there ever since. So the worker stop working there and the family of the book store's boss took over to take care of her. They call her Biscuit because she love to eat sweet stuff. There's also this one chinese lady who sometimes fd her, called her Bobby. Wow, she have many names and people love her!! 

The chinese guy named Albert by the way. He told me sometimes when I feed Zoe, I overfeed her. Actually I did that on purpose. Cause I'm not sure whether I came to that place once or twice a day. So just in case, I placed the kibbles for two meals. Plus lately Zoe's bf came over, so I placed extra kibbles for him to eat. Albert told me the bf only came when Zoe is on heat. Once the heat is over, he will roam around somewhere. Pity Zoe. 

I told Albert rather than she keep on having litter and people took her puppies, it's better to spay her. He said the old chinese lady also said the same thing too. She don't mind paying the cost of spaying and stuff. Me too. I don't mind. Later when I have the chance to meet her, I'll talk to her about Zoe. I told Albert that I did have some difficulties in bringing Zoe to the vet that day. He said whenever I need help about Zoe, I can ask them from the book store. Wow, they are very nice people.

Later when I was walking home, I saw Zoe and her bf taking a walk nearby. She looks very happy with him.  She did saw me and came to me for a while, after I pet her, she went back to her bf and they continue their walk.

Zoe Has A BF!!!

Last Friday before  came back to my parents', like always I will feed Zoe. When I met her, I gave her some treats that I bought before. She love the treats. So I came back to my car to take the kibbles for her. When I was walking to her spot, I saw a male dog.  A tough black male dog. Seriously I was afraid when I saw him. I was stunt. He looked at me and walk few steps away. When Zoe saw me, she came to me like telling me that the male dog is her bf. Later she went back to the male dog, they sniff each other, she lick him a bit and their cheek were touching each other while both tail were wagging. They look very happy together. So I placed extra kibbles for Zoe and her new bf. 

I am happy. But what made me worried is Zoe has not been spayed yet and the male dog seems not been neutered yet. No I don't want Zoe to go through a time again where people took away her puppies. It must be a heart breaking for her. I really really hope she will not get pregnant again this time. I do want to bring her to the vet but she just refused. She don't want to go to the vet. What can I do?

New Comers!!!

So that day I was alone at my parents'. I placed some kibbles at the garage in case Snowy came to eat. While I was watching the TV, I saw something walking at the garage. Hey!! It's a new cat! A male tabby cat. He ate a lot!!! I can see that he haven't ate for quite some time since he's quite skinny for a male cat. But his body was quite long compare to a normal domestic short hair cats. I kept an eye on him while he ate. While Astro and Sophie watched them from the main entrance. He didn't bother them. He kept on eating the kibbles. After he had done eating, he sat near by a column while watching Astro and Sophie watching him. Then my parents' came back, he ran away.

I will call this male tabby cat Tabs. Yes Tabs, because of his fur marking. When I can get near to him, make him comfortable near by me, I will bring him to be neutered. Cause I don't want more and more strays to be here at this area. Cause my house is just besides the main road. Hopefully. Well, my mum didn't like Tabs to come to our house. She don't mind Snowy came, but not Tabs. Well~ what can I say. It's typical when people only like the beautiful cat. She said she don't want our house became the centre for strays. No, I will not make that happened. Since there's no stray in our area at the moment except Tabs and another one black male cat at the back alley of our house. I will make sure I snip them or at least Tabs to prevent overpopulation of strays at our area.

The War Is Here

So~ Things have change a bit at my parents' house. Why? Cause Astro suddenly attack Lili, Lulu and Lolo. He did not attack the rest of the cats. Seriously we don't know what happen to him. Maybe he want my attention. Maybe. Or maybe he don't like cats who have same fur colour like him. So Lili, Lulu and Lolo were kept in my bed room all the time. Provided food, water an litter tray at the toilet. Once in a while we will let them roam freely at the house while Astro were kept at our not-so-wet area with the door locked. After like 30 minutes or 1 hour, they were placed back inside the room and Astro roam freely inside the house. 

Last few days, I thought maybe Astro just wanna some time with me. So I let the three cats out and put Astro in my bed room. He slept with me. He love it, it was fine. He sleeps peacefully. Then after I woke up, the place got switched between the three cats and Astro. We tried to mingle them. But Astro keep on having fights with them, especially Lulu. Lulu looks paranoid every time we let her out of my room. Lolo keep on wanting to run freely like always, but we cannot do that. Astro will chase her all over the house whenever she's around. I seriously don't what should I do. I don't want the three cats be like Callie. Callie has been kept alone for months until she refused to mingle with my other cats. The rest of the cats were fine with her. They did try to get close to her. But she refused. She kept on hissing at them. My fault. I don't know. I know I'm not good in keeping animals. But I did tried my best though..

I Named Him, Snowy

Who's Snowy? Snowy is my neighbour's almost abandoned cat. When I arrived at my parents', Snowy was walking towards our house. He ran towards me and I carried him. Maybe he's not used to be carried by me, so he jump off. Papa told me that just now while Snowy was eating at our garage like always, his owner came by, called him and carried him to their house. Ahaa~ you thought we're going to take your cat. No you're totally wrong. He came by himself. We fell sorry for him, so we feed him, place a bowl of water and a place for him to sleep. Just to make him a little bit comfortable while he's here. Cause we pitty to look every time he sleep inside a dry drain near by our garage. There's a lot of kerengga at near by trees. Don't want him to get bitten by the kerengga like the 4L's though. 

I thought of giving him Frontline Spot On for cat cause he keep on scratching himself and there's a lot of flea feces on her fur indicates that the flea has been there for months or maybe years!! He have completely white fur, so it's easy to spot them on. But I don't know, his owner still thought the cat is theirs although they kinda neglect the cat a bit. Luckily no one steal Snowy cause he's such a handsome boy~ Does the name Snowy too girlish for a male cat? I don't know. I'm bad at giving names.

Flea Free!

Yay!! Zoe is flea free. Yesterday before I went back to Tanjong Malim, I went to visit and feed Zoe. She was still merajuk with me because of that collar. The kibbles I gave her, she only ate puppies kibbles. And for the past few days, she didn't finish her kibble. I thought maybe the kibbles are wet she don't want to eat it. But I do wonder how come the kibbles can be wet. Maybe when someone want to pour water inside the tupperware, the water spill over. I don't know. So her flea, are gone! At first I was like 'seriously seriously?'. Later I took a closer look, selak-selak her fur and there's none! I'm happy to see that. But she doesn't look happy cause the collar is still there on her neck. There's some new ticks on her body. Hopefully the ticks will fall down one by one. Zoe also scratch less compare to before and her wound was healing quite well. What a relief!!  Fleas gone, now ticks. Later need to bring her to the vet for further check up.

I Hope This Is Not A Good Bye For Us

It's Happy. I didn't see her for days. I called her morning, evening and even night time. She is no where to be seen. The last time I saw her the morning after few brats trying to act stupid to us. She was so happy. Someone wore her a collar chain. Maybe that person want to adopt her. Maybe. Hopefully she's in a good hand, received lotsa TLC, having a great playtime and also have other animal companion at her new home. I'll be missing you sayang.

Tick Collar for Zoe

Last Tuesday I went to Honey Veterinary Centre ( HVC ) at Bandar Baru Bangi to meet Dr Nurul to pass something to her. I did tell her about the Biospotix that I used for Zoe. She did explain to me about neutral things in products, the efficiency and stuff. She also tell me about my doubts in using Kiltix and Frontline spot on for Zoe in the first place. After listening to her explanation and I was confident with what she said, I agree to use Kiltix for Zoe. I did show Dr Nurul the Biospotix bottle. She said she's not sure about the Geranium product in it. How does it work on animals and stuff. So, I got the Kiltix collar from HVC

Yesterday, I managed to put the collar on Zoe's neck. She refused to move after I placed the collar on her. She persuade me to open the collar by rubbing her nose, head and body over me. I'm sorry. I cannot. Because she have wound as a result of scratching. Pitty Zoe. Later, she went merajuk with me. Yesterday's morning I did prepare a simple poster saying that I placed the collar on her to treat her ticks and fleas. I did place a piece of paper on the collar too. So that when people spot her, they wouldn't remove the collar or think that Zoe is a lost dog. Crossing fingers.

This morning before I'm going back to Tanjong Malim, I'll check on her first.

IAMS' Voucher!

Yup yup yup. I received RM20 IAMS' voucher last week. It was the lucky draw I think that I won during Pet World 2012 at Mid Valley. So~ I don't feed my cats with IAMS because of personal reason. Since I have RM20 voucher that will expired by the en of August, I need to use it. The voucher can only be use for IAMS and Eukanuba product only at any vet and any pet store. My stock of kibbles for stray cat has finish during my feeding time at Tanjong Malim last week. So I decide to buy a bag of IAMS kibbles for adult cats.

After class yesterday I went to Pet Lover Centre ( PLC ) at Ikano Power Centre ( iPC ). My goal was to buy can food, ANF kibbles for my cats and also IAMS kibbles. Normally I bought ANF at Petzone Kota Damansara. But they don't have stock for 7.5kg, they only have stock for 3kg which is a slightly expensive. There were no ANF 7.5kg at PLC, then I look around for IAMS. Yes they do have. But the packaging look different though. For 20lbs which is around 9kg, it cost RM152. So I thought of buying it since I have the voucher, birthday month extra discount and also my salary from my part time job. So for the kibbles, I need to pay RM116 after all the discount and voucher.

Next I went to Petzone Kota Damansara to buy two bags of 3kg kibbles since we have lack of kibbles at home. I did ask Num ( the store owner ), the price for IAMS adult cat kibbles. She said after discount for the 9kg bag, is RM130. I did think a bit. If it's RM130, minus voucher should be RM110. Every RM100 spent at Petzone, we will get RM5 rebate. Means the price is RM105. well, there's a slight lost there. If only I bought the IAMS kibbles at Petzone, I will save RM10. It's ok. Next time I'll go there first.

Today I will be going back to my parents.
